Kids love to climb around the gigantic bronze statue of King Neptune, which has a practical function as a sundial. Unique shops ring the harbor, too, with everything from fine art to toys, clothing, and gifts. As you stroll along the water's edge admiring the yachts at their moorings, pause for a cool drink, a snack, or a cone of gourmet ice cream. If you have a larger appetite, there are several restaurants nearby with outdoor tables as well as indoor seating. At 9 P.M. every Tuesday during the summer, there are fireworks displays over the water at Shelter Cove Harbor, capping the evening's entertainment.
